NZ - Nutting Out Men's Health Prostate Cancer

This is a morning  only workshop covering male urogenitary anatomy, physiology and function. As well as prostate disease, cancer and helping men navigate the pathway from diagnosis to treatment and then recovery. Craig is a practicing men's health physiotherapist in Australia as well as an author and educator. His information on psychosocial aspects of working with these men is  enlightening, informative and practical. Registrants for this half day will be learning alongside physiotherapists who will continue with Craig in the afternoon with specific clinical content. Learning outcomes

• Understand how male clients receive and transmit health related information and how to improve effective transfer from therapist to client.
  
• Describe the normal anatomy and function of the male urogenitary system (it's amazing!)
• Understand prostate gland disease, diagnosis, treatment pathways, side effects and the role of physiotherapy in retraining continence and general fitness
• Describe the common causes of erectile dysfunction and how physiotherapy can help
